Systematic Object – Chair is a kinetic performance in which six industrial robot arms assemble and take apart a chair. It was made by System Design LAB, a project group YEKKI is part of.
〈체계화된 사물 – 의자〉는 여섯 개의 산업용 로봇팔이 조각난 의자 부품을 조립하고 해체하는 키네틱 퍼포먼스로, 작가가 참여한 시스템디자인랩의 작업이다.
YEKKI (Yechan Choi, b. 1995) is an artist based in Seoul who makes furniture and lighting. The work explores the many viewpoints an object can hold, giving form to ways of seeing that cannot be experienced in reality.
YEKKI(최예찬, 1995년생)는 서울에서 가구와 조명을 만드는 작가다. 사물이 가진 다양한 시점을 탐색하고, 현실에서는 경험할 수 없는 시각적 감각을 조형으로 구현하고자 한다.
