TETRIT, from “Tetris” and “unit”, is a furniture series that keeps wood waste to a minimum. Like blocks in Tetris, its units are laid out to fill a plywood sheet with almost no gaps, using about 94.1% of a 2440 × 1220 mm sheet. Six kinds of unit and two kinds of connecting bar combine into a chair, a side table and a stool, and a worn or damaged unit can be replaced on its own. Flat and regular, the units also store and pack compactly.
TETRIT은 ‘TETRIS’와 ‘UNIT’의 합성어로, 목재 폐기물을 최소화한 가구 시리즈다. 테트리스 블록처럼 빈틈없이 맞춰지는 유닛으로 합판을 분할해, 2440×1220mm 합판 한 장의 약 94.1%를 사용한다. 6가지 유닛과 2가지 연결 바를 조합해 의자, 사이드 테이블, 스툴을 만들 수 있고, 손상되거나 바꾸고 싶은 유닛만 따로 교체할 수 있다. 규격화된 유닛은 보관과 포장에도 효율적이다.
