Equinox is a planter and a lamp in one, made to give an indoor plant the light it needs. Named after the day when day and night are of equal length, it gives the sun’s path across the sky the form of a ring around the plant. Using sunrise and sunset data, the LED in the ring moves through the day to light the plant from the same angle as the sun. An app and a dial set the brightness and the color temperature, from 2200K to 11000K. The round top around the pot doubles as a side table, and the pot and water tray come apart for easy care.
Equinox는 화분과 조명을 하나로 합쳐, 실내의 식물에게 필요한 빛을 주는 오브제다. 낮과 밤의 길이가 같은 춘분(Equinox)에서 이름을 따, 하늘을 가로지르는 태양의 궤도를 화분을 감싸는 링으로 형상화했다. 일출·일몰 시간 데이터를 바탕으로 링 속 LED가 하루 동안 움직이며 실제 태양과 같은 각도에서 식물을 비춘다. 앱과 다이얼로 밝기와 색온도(2200K–11000K)를 조절할 수 있다. 화분을 둘러싼 원형 상판은 사이드 테이블로 쓰이고, 화분과 물받이는 쉽게 분리해 관리할 수 있다.
